When clients look for a reliable logistics company, one of the key requirements is that the company has its own warehouse. This allows clients to maintain control over the entire logistics process.
Initially, our warehouse was quite basic, with management practices that weren’t very well defined, and goods were often stored without clear guidelines. Then, a friend of mine introduced me to a warehouse at Yantian Port that had a state-owned background. The warehouse had six floors, with strict management rules. Every step, from registration, wearing safety helmets, and work attire, to clear guidelines on where and how goods should be stored, was well regulated.
When goods arrived, they were immediately photographed and weighed, and the space allocation was determined based on the volume. If the volume was significant, we could even request the installation of surveillance cameras for real-time monitoring. The fire safety measures were also top-notch, consistent from the first to the sixth floor. It truly was a top-of-the-line facility, and I didn’t hesitate to lock it in.
Out of the 60,000 freight forwarders in Shenzhen, only three have their own warehouse at Yantian Port with this level of capability. I’m always proud to mention this.
